Around 40,000 snake bite cases are reported annually in Pakistan claiming around 3000 lives.
Surprisingly, not all snakes are venomous, yet fear alone can prove fatal. Even educated individuals
struggle as medical professionals face challenges identifying snake species, hindering treatment. This
alarming lack of awareness spans sectors from trained personnel to laymen, resulting in 3000 annual
deaths. Let’s tackle this crisis together.

Objectives of the Training

  • Comprehensive grasp of snake biology, ecology and behavior

  • Proficiency in distinguishing venomous and non-venomous snakes
  • Acquisition of essential snake handling and first aid techniques
  • Familiarity with snake-keeping and rearing techniques
  • Dispelling myths and addressing misconceptions surrounding snakes
  • Thorough understanding of snake bite issues and the concept of anti-venom and its application
